Pets of every sort have a chance to walk the runway and win prizes March 10 during the 19th annual Worth Avenue Pet Parade.

The Worth Avenue Association-sponsored event gets under way at 10 a.m. in the newly rechristened Via Amore, 256 Worth Ave.

Owners of participating pets may register their animals beginning at 9:30 a.m. in the three weight categories: large, medium and small.

Judging the entrants and awarding an array of pet-friendly prizes donated by local merchants will be Mayor Gail Coniglio; Wayne King of Burkhardt Construction; veterinarian and Pucci & Catana pet boutique owner Dr. Richard Maser; Jo Jo Harder, president of America’s Top Dog Model; and Paulette Cooper Noble, Palm Beach Daily News Pet Set columnist.

All donations received during the event will benefit Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League.

For further information, contact Sherry Frankel, Worth Avenue Association president at 655-1996.
